MAXImizing Fall

Greetings Loves!
I hope you are keeping safe & warm during this storm if you are on the east coast.
I got this jacket from Zara during the summer, but I had no idea how I was going to style it. It was cold today so I decided it was the perfect day to pair it with this maxi skirt. I loved how it looked but I thought the black & neon orange was too boring; so I added a stripe tank for a little excitement.  As you know, when the weather is gloomy I like to wear my bright colors to keep my spirit up. How do you keep your spirit up when it’s gloomy outside? Until next time!

Fall-ing Leaves

Hi Loves,
I hope you had a marvelous Saturday! Today was an absolute gorgeous day in MD, although I think it’s the calm before the storm, literally. We’re expecting a huge storms this upcoming week that the media outlets have dubbed “Frankenstorm.”  I hope everyone is getting ready for it. Most importantly staying safe.
Now to the good stuff, how many ways can I express my love for the fall season? So many ways! The hubby and I were driving to an event this morning. We passed by this absolutely gorgeous spot where there were only huge trees and the ground was covered in leaves. Can you say gorgeous? We quickly made a detour and snapped some photos. I love spur of the moment shoots. Until Next time.

Sequins, Bow & Pleats

Hello Loves,

I hope your Sunday is going marvelous.  I am coming from church. I went to the Fashion Beauty and Lifestyle Expo at the Washington convention center  in DC yesterday and I got this top. I am not a sequins person but when I saw this shirt I was immediately drawn to it. The material is very light and the sequins is not too overwhelming. There is also sequins at the end of the sleeves but I thought that was a bit extra so I folded them. This color blocked pleated skirt speaks for itself. I love my colors so that’s my way of bringing color into my fall wardrobe.  Until next time!

Fire in my Soul

Greetings all,
I hope your day is going well. The weather hasn’t been so pleasant here, rainy & cold. Welcome fall season. so I dedicate this outfit to the very first feel of fall season. This jacket is everything and then some. I fought tooth and nail to get it and it came at a very fashionomical price. Isn’t that what we aim for when we’re shopping? This skirt from modcloth is so appropriate for this season, thus it will be in high rotation. Don’t judge me! lol. What’s your fall go to piece?
