Tweeding Sequins

Hi Loves!!

Can you believe this the last day of the year? How cray is that? I am excited about the new year and all of the opportunities ahead.

It was crazy windy & freezing in the DMV area this weekend so I had to layer up and please excuse the crazy hair strands everywhere. The wind would not cooperate! Anyway, I want to introduce you to my new loves, my Schutz pumps. Please get use to them, you’ll seeing them quite often in the new year. I feel like they go with everything in my closet. I fell in love with the heels and immediately felt like they belonged in my closet! My number one rule when shopping is that the piece of clothing or accessory have to go with multiple pieces in my closet or can be worn different way. I decided to pair it with my trustee red skirt, and my tweed sequins jacket. I hope you all ring in the new year safely! Until next time. Thank for reading.

Back To The Basics

Hello Beautiful People,
Happy Holidays From The Pierres!! we hope this holiday season brings you great Cheers, Peace and Love in spite of any circumstance!
This weekend I shopped my closet again and decided to go back to the basic black and white. Now, you all know that I’m not too keen on black and white but I thought it would be a nice change, plus it was really cold this weekend.  I paired it with my black wedge Michael Kors pumps. I love the end result. Through my style journey, I am learning it’s ok to go the simple route and cut back on the colors. However, a woman like me can’t stay away from colors for too long lol. Thank you for reading. Until next time!

Nautical Stripes

Hello Loves!
I hope you’re having a marvelous weekend. Today I want to talk about shopping your closet. Being a blogger to me doesn’t mean wearing the most expensive or a new outfit daily. It means learning to work the pieces you already have in your closet and that’s exactly what I did today. You’d be surprise to see how the different pieces in your closet can work so well together. I went into my closet today and took out some pieces and added a couple of twist and Voila! At first I wanted to wear the skirt and the blouse alone, but I thought that was too bland (as always). I decided to add my striped button down shirt for some slight excitement. I am so in love with this skirt, it is just so unique and feels so amazing. I bought it 2 years ago at Victoria’s Secret, yes, your read right Vickie’s. It’s such a timeless piece. Have a great week! until next time.

Multiple Shades of Grey & Carol’s Daughter Event

 Hello Loves

I hope that you are keeping dry and warm. It’s been super cold and rainy here in MD. I am still nursing a cold. Any who, I am wearing the gray skirt from Piperlime. I posted about my slight obsession with them on last week’s post. I decided to pair it up with my favorite silk top. I love the pattern and the different shades of grey and purple in this top. I have never been able to find anything like it since I bought it. I brought out my trustee YSL pumps to finish off this outfit.  I love the simplicity and class of this outfit.
I was invited and attended “A holiday Mixer with Carol’s Daughter” at The Carol’s Daughter store Pentagon City last night and I loved it! From the products to the goodies and the 20%…Loved it All! See below for more on the event.  Until Next time!

***A Holiday Mixer with Carol’s Daughter Event***

I was invited to a Carol’s daughter event this weekend. I had heard of their products from my natural haired friends, However, due to my lack of research, I didn’t think there was a place at the table for my relaxed hair. I was reluctant to go at first and decided to give it a try last minute.  It was a very nice event with quite a turnout and it did help that everything at the store was 20% off. I am excited to try out the goodies I received for my hair and hopeful give you all a review soon. Enjoy the pics below!

Please don’t mind my shiny looking face it was HOT in there. lol

My friend won one of the Raffle prizes. Posing with the Carol’s daughter Representative.

I received a Couple of Carol’s daughter goodies. Thank Carol’s Daughter!!
