Consciously Casual

Hello Loves!
I hope you’re having a wonderful Saturday. I am in Atlanta and loving it. All I have to say is southern hospitality is real. The people here are so welcoming and accommodating. Any who, yesterday was so much fun, meeting friends, shopping and being a tourist. Being the fashion blogger that I am, I had to pose for a few pics. I got this linen skirt at a thrift store for $7 and it is the perfect Spring/Summer skirt. I thought I would give it a pop with a graphic tee. I don’t own a lot of casual clothes, so I am now getting in the habit of shopping for more casual clothes. I love the relaxed look and the weather was behaving quite nicely in ATL. Off to more adventures. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Airport Chic – Red, White & Blue

Hi Loves!!
I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a great weekend. By the time you read this entry, I will probably be en route to the airport.  I’ve never done a dressed down entry and this is my version of dressing down. I am traveling down south tonight for a friend’s wedding over the weekend and I need to be comfortable traveling. I don’t understand people that wear heels to the airport. To me, traveling is about comfort and relaxing and I don’t think you can relax in heels. Yes, this is coming from someone who loves heels, but to each his own. I love layering to travel because you really never know what the weather is going to be like, especially the bipolar weather down south. The forecast says rain for the whole weekend. BOOO! It’s an outdoor wedding, hopefully we’ll be under a tent. Please pray for no rain and most importantly safe travels. Thank you for reading. Until next time.

I SEA Colors

Hello Loves!
I hope your Monday is going super cool or at least you’re making the best of it. Any who, I really want to get into this post. First off, I have a confession to make, I never thought I would buy a skirt from Forever 21. It’s not because of anything weird, but it’s because I never thought I’d find a skirt at Forever 21 with the length and the width I want, not to mention that it’s gorgeous! oh….and the gorgeous color was an added bonus. Did I mention that it was under $20? It’s a gorgeous spring skirt, it flows nicely and cinches your waist perfectly. I’ve always wanted to add blue and green together and I decided to wear with bright sandals because I felt it needed a pop of color. I’ll be keeping my eyes open at Forever 21 for any future skirts that I might be interested in. As always, I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit and thank you for reading. Until next time.

Mixed Prints

Hello Loves,
I hope you had a great weekend and are having a wonderful Monday. It is finally spring and I am enjoying every minute of it. Isn’t this skirt just lovely?! I wasn’t sure about it at first but then I realized: 1) I don’t have anything like it, 2) I need more prints in my life. After much debate I decided to get it with the intention of returning it. However, I fell in love with it when I saw it. I am all about quality and I was sold on the material of this skirt and the length. I really didn’t know how I would style it. I thought I would give it a pop of color and sheer simple top. I love the outcome. I would love to know your thoughts on how you’d style the skirt. Just a reminder, please don’t forget to vote for me on the Fleet Collection contest, you can “like” this picture  on facebook. Found By Fleet + 15% Off any purchase on Fleet!

Hello Loves!
I hope your week is going well. I have some great news to share with you, I was chosen as 1 of 3 bloggers to take part in the “Found by Fleet” monthly campaign. Fleet Collection is a new brand, just over 1 year old. They are rapidly growing and have already established a great following on Etsy.  I love their clothes, it’s a great mix between modern and vintage. Lastly, all of their clothes are made in the USA! How cool is that?
The context is currently going on and I would be soooo grateful if you would go on to their Facebook and click on my picture and like it or click here for the direct link.
There’s more – Fleet has provided me with a 15% coupon code for you, my loyal readers, to use to shop on their website through the end of the month of April. It’s FLEETABP15.
I thank you in advance for your votes and I hope to do a giveaway with some of the goodies I’ll be winning from the Fleet Collection!

Here are some of the items I really love and plan to purchase!
