Happy Sunday Loves!
I hope your weekend is going extremely well. Guess what? Today is 70 degrees!! Look at God! Now I can bring out the flowy dresses and the spring colors. I am so excited for spring and summer, I can hardly wait. I have plenty weddings to attend and lots of prints and colors to wear. The hubby treated me to a shopping spree for our 1 year anniversary and this dress from Ann Taylor was one of the items I fell in love with. Unfortunately, it is sold out on the website and at the stores. This jacket has a backstory and you can read it on this post
. I always seem to pair it with dresses and it works. I brought out the sandals (Thank goodness my toes are done!) and my gorgeous bag. This Kate Spade bag is so lovely but I seem to have the hardest time pairing it with anything in my closet. I am a clutch woman in case you haven’t noticed. However, I have resolve (please hold me to it) to include it more in my future posts. I’d love to know what item in your closets you’d want to incorporate into your outfits as the season changes. As always, thank you so much for reading. Until next time.

I hope you are having a great Thursday and getting ready for the beautiful weekend ahead. Is it just me or is anyone else praying that this month goes by super fast. I mean it would have been summer already if it was up to me! It feels like winter is holding on for dear life and I am not sure why. Anyway, this was an outfit I wore last Saturday to my church youth meeting I told you about in the previous post. I found this skirt at another thrift trip! I told you I was getting good at this thrift shopping business. I fell in love with the skirt, the pleats, the faux-fold and it fits me like a glove! It is so modern with a vintage flair. Guess what? It only cost me $7! Gorgeous and a great price? Yes, Please! I felt it was only right to pair it with my YSL pumps, I love mixing high and low priced pieces. It further stamps the fact that it is not about brands but how you style an outfit. I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. Thank you so much for reading. Until next time!

I hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend, I know I certainly did. The hubby, a couple of our friends and I went up to NY for the weekend. Our church branch in NY was having their annual youth meeting. Although we missed most of the services, the meeting started Thursday, we caught the last two services on Saturday morning and night. I enjoyed the meetings, however, I thought I’d get a chance to explore NY the way I’d like to (shopping and sightseeing). I’ve been to NY countless times, however, it has always for a specific reason. I would someday (in the near future) like to go just for shopping, sightseeing and be a tourist.
Any who, I got the inspiration for this outfit from a Marshall’s commercial (I can’t find the commercial online) go head and laugh! LOL I am not ashamed. I am always looking for new ways to wear and revamp my outfits and I truly believe inspiration is everywhere. When I saw the way the Marshall’s lady had made a simple sweater look absolutely gorgeous, I knew I had to try it. I must say I am super happy with the results. Since it was Easter Sunday I felt the need to wear sorbet and bright colors. I got the skirt at a thrift store for $3!! I am getting good at this thrift shopping business!! I love the way all of the colors complimented each other. I just wish I could show you the Marshall’s lady, then you can really see how fabulous her outfit was. Please leave me a note below to let me know where you get some of your outfit inspirations, I’d love to know. As always, Thank you so much for reading. Until next time.
