Brightly Nude

Hello Lovebugs!
I hope your week is going well so far. I
am going to keep it short.  Isn’t it great how a simple accessory can
change a whole outfit? This beaded stretch belt gave my outfit so much
life this weekend. I bought 3 of them $30 at Loft. I think they might be
my new obsession.  The belt added so much pizzaz to an other wise
simple outfit. I’d love to know what you which accessories you use to
turn your outfit from drab to fab?  As always, thank you for reading.
Until next time.

Business As Usual

Hello Loves!
I hope the weekend treated you well. It was a pretty interesting weekend for me. I am not sure why I was in a business state of mind when I was planning this outfit. It’s so interesting the things you’ll find out you had when looking through your closet and your husband’s closet (don’t judge me lol). So I have a stack of shoes in boxes in my husband’s closet that I barely look through or maybe forgot about. He was making space in his closet when he started going through my shoes and found these Sam Edelman snakeskin gems. I can remember exactly when I bought them. I fell in love with them so much that I bought 2 pairs, a royal blue pair that I gave away and these snakeskin babies. It was like seeing the shoes for the first time and I fell in love with it all over. So I planned my whole outfit around my shoes. Another find in my closet was this gorgeous pencil skirt that I bought about 5 years ago from Filene’s Basement. Again, I loved the skirt so much that I also bought the brown one. The side button detail gives so much personality to the skirt.   As soon as I put the skirt on I felt like I was going to an office, although it was the weekend. I decided to go all the way with the office flair and add a little pop of color. I love the finished look.  So why do I forget about these gems in my closet? I need to do better! Am I the only person that falls in love with a piece of clothing or accessory and decide that I need it in every color? Please tell me I am not. As always, thank you for reading and I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. Until next time.

Flowers & Faux-Wrap

 Hello Loves!
I hope your fourth of July weekend was fun and festive. My weekend was wonderful.  I got to spend some time with my family, which was quite enjoyable and fun. So about 3 weeks ago I was helping my cousin shop for a dress for a wedding we were going to in GA. She was determined to spend under $30, I definitely gave her the side eye. We went to The Limited and found this gorgeous dress and it was definite $9 above budget. Then I proposed we go to Ann Taylor which was having a major sale. She went inside reluctantly and I headed straight to the sale section and went to work. We picked a couple dresses for her,  including this faux-wrap dress and when I looked at the price it was $24, I knew I already won. She tried it on and fell in love with the print and the style. I bring it up to the cashier and she said total was $13! my jaw dropped and I went right back to the rack and got my size and tried it on. I fell in love and that my friends, is how we bought 2 dresses for $26 at Ann Taylor. As always, Thank you for reading and I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit and your own bargain story. Until next time.

Citrus Punch

 Hello Loves!
I hope your Monday is going great and that you are looking forward to a wonderful fourth of July holiday. I am going to keep this post short. The weather was so dreary yesterday that I had to bring out my own sunshine. I bought this shirt from Target (Tar-jay) from the Prabal Gurung Collection for Target and certainly didn’t know how to style it. When the hubby suggested I wore it with a citrus skirt, I was kind of skeptical but when I tried it on I loved it. Although, I usually don’t like matching but I love the different shades of citrus and how they compliment each other. In true Jenny fashion, I opted for this spotted belt and my oxblood shoes to finish off the outfit.  I would love to know know your thought on the outfit, so don’t forget to leave a comment below. As always, Thank you for reading. Until next time.
