Fuschia Bomb

Hello Loves!
I hope your day started off wonderful and that you’re looking forward to a pleasant week. Remember, a couple of posts ago I told you guys I was becoming a pro at this thrifting business, well I can now say I am officially a pro LOL. I went thrifting last week and found this beautiful fuchsia blouse with shoulder pads for $3 and a 25% off. As soon I tried it on I instantly felt like my mother in her 1970’s-80s outfits LOL. Oddly enough, I kinda liked that feeling, so I bought the blouse. I knew I wanted to pair this bright blouse with something equally as bright and this skirt was perfect. I paired it with some understated pumps for color balance. I’d love to know your thoughts on this outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Multiple Shades of Snake

Hello Loves!
I hope your weekend was wonderful and that you’re tackling this week feeling rejuvenated. This weekend, I learned how to bike. Yes, bike! I grew up in Haiti and because my aunt raised us while my mom was in the states, she didn’t want to let my sister and I do anything that was remotely “dangerous” LOL and biking fell into that category. Long story short, I never learned how to bike and when I told my husband he felt sorry for me. He was determined to show me on Saturday and it only took 2 hours, LOTS of bruises/scratches/falls, then I became a pro biker (ha!). Please see instagram for proof! LOL.
My friend Nathalie gave me this sunflower jacquard yellow skirt about a year ago and it was too tight. I love it so much that I was willing to wait until it fit just right to wear it. Lo and behold, last week I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I decided to paired it with one of my fave snake print shirt, snake print shoes and clutch. I added a bow belt to add more of a feminine touch to the outfit. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, Thank you for reading. Until next time.

Festivity!

 Hello Loves!!

**sings** Celebrate good times, Come on! lol Please don’t mind me. I am in very festive mood hence the reason for this very festive outfit.  If you keep up with the collabos between Target and these top designers you know Tracy Reese designed this top and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I mean, how gorge is this top? The sequins details are so delicate and they just pop. I have had this top since December and I am just now getting around to wearing it because I didn’t know how to style it. It’s very boxy and loose and I could only imagine wearing it with skinny jeans, and since I don’t wear pants that was not an option. So I figured I’d wear it with the closest thing to skinny jeans in my closet, a pencil skirt! I added my J.Crew school boy blazer for a more polished effect. I must said I love the outcome. The reason I am in such a festive mood is because I got offered a great management consulting position with one of the big 4 (audit) firms. I am excited for this new journey and can’t wait to take you (my loyal readers) along with me. God is SOOOOO good and I am sooo thankful. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you sooo much for reading. Until next time!

Gold and Rock n’ Roll

 Hello Loves!
I hope your week is off to a great start. I am super duper excited for this week to be over! LOL (Don’t ask). Nevertheless I am going to try to enjoy it as much as possible.
Story Time! I am so excited to tell you about this Deux Lux clutch. This week I went to Neiman Marcus’ Last Call and was just perusing, nothing serious, until I stumbled upon this fab clutch! It was originally $125, then decrease to $65. I would never buy a clutch for more than $30 unless it was Dior or Chanel! lol. It was in the 50% off rack, so I figured I’d at least have it checked out. The cashier checked the price for me and she said $47 and like the bargain hunter that I am, I started explaining why I won’t pay that price and asking for the manager. After all the back and forth, I decided to look online (yes, while in front of the cashier. don’t judge me!) for the clutch. Lo and behold it was right there on the Last Call website at 50% off. I wanted to talk to the manager and explain to her that I wanted to rock the clutch this weekend and I couldn’t it wait for it to be shipped. She saw the passion in my eyes and decided to give me the clutch at 50% off. Disclaimer, I would not do this for any item! I don’t have a spiked clutch in my collection and I figured it was worth the back and forth. This clutch added a bit a colorful edge to my otherwise girly outfit! I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. As always, thank you so much for reading. Until next time.
