Hello Loves!!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. This weekend the hubby had to go in the office to finish this huge project he’s working on and I joined him the city for date night. So if you stay in the know fashion wise you know the biggest collaboration this month was the Phillip Lim x Target collection. I mean it’s hard enough to go in target and buy one thing, but to bring THE Phillip Lim to Target was. just. EVERYTHING. I fell in love with every piece in the collection, especially the bags. So I wait until midnight on the 15th, went to check it out online and it wasn’t out yet. I went to sleep and woke up at 9 am to find everything sold out online. The horror! Frantically, I called my friend and told her to head to a Target right now and get the sweatshirt and bags. Lo and behold, she walked into Target and could only find the sweatshirt in my size and no bags. I was so happy I got the shirt and but sad at there were no bags. So this saturday, I decided pair it with my vegan leather skirt and the polka dotted shirt. I absolutely love the playful feel and the marriage of the polka dot on the shirt and the sweatshirt. The hubby thought I looked hot and we had a great time in the city. As always, I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit and thank you for reading. Until next time.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hello Loves!!
I hope your weekend went well and you enjoyed it. Well, tomorrow the (16th) is my birthday and I am off to Chicago for training. I am super excited to learn the new materials and meet more people. I usually make a big deal about my birthday but for some odd reason I wanted it to be low key. However, I am extremely excited to be in Chi town. I got this dress made and as soon as I saw the material, I knew I wanted it to be a pencil dress. I would love to know your thoughts on the dress. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

 Hey Loves!
I hope
your weekend was great and that you’re ready for the week ahead. For
some of you by the time you read this blog entry, I will either be on my
way to Atlanta for my first day (training) on the new job or be in ATL
already. I am super excited to start this new journey and new chapter in
my professional life. Last week I went to my friend Silvia’s boutique
because she was having a great sale and I was just perusing the store,
not really looking for anything in particular. I was just about to leave
the store when the hubby brought this skirt to my attention. I tried it
on and fell in love with it and got it for less than $20. Although fall
is officially two weeks away, I already knew that this outfit would be
the way I bid adieu to summer. I wanted it to be very simple but elegant
at the same time. I felt like the all black accessories achieved that
goal. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. Thank you for
reading. Until next time.

Doublebreasted in Color

 Hello Loves!!
I hope your labor day weekend was wonderful and that you’re getting ready for the short work week. I am always looking for a way to update my wardrobe, push my fashion limits. As someone who only wear skirts or dresses below the knee, it can sometimes feel like you’re wearing the same thing over and over, which brings me to this double breasted blazer. I saw this blazer at Zara for $29, I picked it up and put it right back down. Why you ask? well, I couldn’t picture how I was going to wear a double breasted blazer with a skirt, but then I thought yes, yes you can. I pictured the outfit and then I picked the blazer right back up without even thinking about it and before I knew it, the blazer was mine. One of the things that really pulled me to this blazer, as simple as it might be, is the gold buttons. They add character to the blazer. I paired it with a semi-fitted pencil skirt to give it the flared look. I also added my trusted striped cami for some excitement.  I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.
