Leather and Laser Cut

 Hello Loves,
I hope your week is starting off well. This weekend was very lax and fun but the weather was giving me a heart attack. I feel like we went from summer to winter in a blank of an eye. It is freezing in MD, so off course the cozy sweaters and leather jackets are coming out of my closet sooner than I anticipated. I went to the Gilt warehouse sale about 2 weeks ago and found so many great pieces, like this Cynthia Rowley skirt for less than $50 it was $295! I got so many other goodies that I cannot wait to wear and share with all. The skirt is a thick stretch jersey material so it’s perfect for fall and winter. During my outfit planning process, I paired the skirt with this peplum vegan leather jacket I got from ebay and there it was. I love the way the skirt was fitting on top but turned into an A line towards the bottom and the laser cut detail added a bit of mystery and sexiness to it. The peplum jacket gave me a slimmer waist and a very nice silhouette. I would love to hear your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you  for reading and for your support. Until next time.

Colors and Stripes

 Hello Loves!!
I hope your weekend is going great. I
wanted to do a quick blog update. I fell in love with this skirt at the
thrift store and seriously thought i was going to wear it with a leather
jacket. I tried it on and showed my husband and sis in law, they both
shut it down immediately. I believe the right words were “ew” and
“you’re doing too much” LOL. Being the advice taker that I am I said ok,
but being the experimental person that I am, I said I am not going down
without a fight. I solicited the help of my sister and a friend who
were all the way in Belgium (again, doing too much) to help me put this
outfit together. It is officially fall here in MD and I was really
trying to layer up. They started asking me the typed of sweaters and
button down I had in my closet. We started putting the top part
together, when we finally agreed that this outfit was experimental
enough for me and pushed me a little bit over the edge in my comfort
zone. In true Jenny fashion, no outfit is quite complete without a belt
to seal the deal. I absolutely love the outcome and the warmth it
provided. I love being colorful mixed with a bit of crazy, it’s my
personality and it’s who I am. I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Mad for Plaid

 Hello Loves,
Happy hump day! It has been awhile since we’ve spoken. I hope your week is going well so far. I have just been extremely busy with work and church events. I went to Target (Tar-jay) the other day and found this plaid jacket that I had been feigning over for a good while. I snatched it with such quickness that my friend who was with me thought I was fighting another customer. Mind you, I don’t have anything like this blazer in my blazer collection. I wanted to dress it up very colorfully. When I think of plaid,  I think of playfulness and bright colors. I think I achieved it with this look. I would love to hear your thoughts on how you would wear this blazer. Thank you for reading. Until next time.
