Paisley Maxed

Hello Loves!
I hope your (hopefully) short work week is off to a great start. I am going to be brief. My god  friend bought me this Furla belt from her trip to Belgium last month and I’ve been meaning to wear it but wasn’t quite sure how I would style it. I love this belt and have nothing like it in my closet.  This weekend I realized that it would be perfect with this outfit and I love the outcome. I also love the fact that we caught the sunset while taking the pictures. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Gingham Flares

 Hello Loves!
I hope your week is starting off marvelously. I won’t be long because this week is a busy one. This skirt is part of the gifts my sis brought for me from Belgium.  We all know I love me a skirt with pockets so when I saw this I thought it was perfect. I wanted to dress it up a little “rough” because the material and color of the skirt reminds me of military uniforms, hence the reason for the button down gingham shirt. I had to add a little feminine touch to the outfit with the beaded belt. I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Gone with the wind curls!

 Hello Loves!
Happy Veteran’s day! We appreciate and pray for all of the men and women who serve our country daily. I hope you’re enjoying your day off for those of you who do get that day off. This weekend was so packed with church activities, social activities and getting sick-boo to that last one. It was so windy and cold this weekend that I almost considered taking my pics inside, but then I wouldn’t be able to show the gorgeousness that is this leather skirt. When I tell you this leather pencil skirt is a must in my closet, I mean it. I love its versatility and please bear with me because I will be wearing it more and more as we get into the season. You can see how I styled it last time I wore it here. I love the way it looked with this hounds tooth suede elbow patched blazer I got from Zara last year. This outfit speaks sleek, chic & classy work wear and I love it! As always I’d love to hear your thoughts on this outfit and thank you for reading. Until next time.

Leather Trimmed & Military Style

Hello Loves!
I hope your weekend was as productive as I tried to make mine. It’s Monday and I am trying to take this motivation into the work week. I mentioned before that my sister was in Belgium for two months but she just got back two weeks ago.  One of my presents from her was this Zara leather trimmed printed top. I don’t have many printed tops so I was excited when she showed it to me and I immediately fell in love. As soon as she showed it to me while in Belgium, I was already going thru
my skirt collection to see which one would do it justice. Imagine my excitement when she finally brought it to me, I had narrowed my looks down with three skirts. I wanted to go with a puffy midi skirt, leather pencil skirt or this military like A-line skirt. All of my choice were off course colorful except this one. As soon as I tried this one on for my hubby, to my disappointment, his eyes lit up and he said that’s it. He was going on about how the buttons complimented the blouse, blah blah blah LOL.  I hadn’t seen it yet so I marched to my mirror and thought ..this could work…with more colors LOL. I took my trusty green Rebecca Minkoff bag and my two toned Zara heels and thought, yep now it’s good. As someone who loves fashion I try to remain as open as possible to other people’s opinion because I understand a small change can make a big difference in an outfit. The lesson?: remain open minded. As always, I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. Until next time.

Please be warned: The reason I have my hand in my hair is because the wind was out of control, so I had to keep my locks in control while posing LOL.
