MultiPrint, Tweed & Colors

Hello Loves!
I can’t believe in less than 48 hours I will be counting down to the new year! It is crazy but so happy for the new year. The thing that scares me is the unknown, but that’s also what makes this new year so exciting.  For those of you who celebrate, I hope your Christmas time with family was extra fun and that everything you have planned for the new year goes as smoothly as possible. I wanted to end this year with a pairing that I’ve never done before. I thought instead a pop of color, I will have pop of colors; not to mention that no color can outdo this tweed, multi-print peplum jacket. I picked up this jacket that I had been eying at Ann Taylor for more than 70% off the price! Remember my motto, I never buy any thing full price. I paired it with a tan J.Crew skirt and my trusted Manolo Blahnik pumps.  I would love to know your thoughts on this pairing.
I just want to take this time to really thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support and encouragement on the blog in 2013.  I look forward to more interaction in the new year. Your feedback is extremely appreciated.  I wish you and your family all of the best in the new year. Here is to next year and beyond! Happy New Year!!  Remember…

Hello Loves!
I hope you are well and that you’re getting ready for this short work week.  For those of you that celebrate Christmas, I hope you are getting ready to host/spend time with family and exchange gifts. I snuck away to FL this weekend for a friend’s wedding and to spend time with my husband’s family. Because I fly to Dallas every Monday morning, I tasked my husband to pack for me. He brought a dress that…let’s just say .. was not for a FL wedding. I realized the morning of the wedding that I’d have to go get a dress. Luckily and unluckily for me, my in laws live a stone’s throw away from a premium outlet. I can never resist not going to the outlet when I visit, it’s a problem. Any way, I went to all of my “regular” stores and found nothing. As I came out of one store, I noticed for the first time since I’ve been coming to the outlet, a BCBG Max Azria store. I did not even know there was an outlet store for BCBG let alone have it be in the outlet next to my in-laws home. I went in there without much hope and lo and behold this beauty was in there calling my name, it was the last size left and it was my size. I got it for under $80!! It was perfect for the weather and got many compliments on it at the wedding. It just so happens that my husband had brought the right shoe and I appreciate him for that. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always thank you for reading. Until next time. Enjoy your holiday!

As you can see, the humidity had taken its toll by the time the photo shoot was over. LOL

 Hello Loves!
I hope your weekend was wonderful and if you are on the east coast, I hope you’re keeping warm because this snow and cold outside is not for the faint of heart. I try my best to keep away from he tights but today the cold won. My sister went back to Belgium and came back last night. She went to Italy and got me these purple suede pumps that I totally love. I wish the heels were way higher but it’s going to be perfect for work. Last week, I told you I went to NY for the weekend and shopped a little. I was introduced to the store Joe Fresh, I had heard so much great things about it and I made it a priority to visit. They were having a great sale and I stacked up a little. This stripped shirt was one of the goodies. I have always wanted to do a mixed print with stripped and another print and this was the perfect opportunity. I added the bedazzled belt for a little spark and color. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Happy Monday Loves!

I don’t mean to sound super happy but I’m at the airport at 5 am so I might as well make the best of it. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving and that you enjoyed the weekend whereever you may be reading this from. This weekend the hubby and I played tourists in NY. It was super fun and the weather suprisingly cooperated. I love this city. It is filled with so much history and so much life. I’m going to keep this post short. My hubby is the biggest christmas lover I know, so I thought I might start to think about the upcoming holidays with this jolly outfit to put us in the holiday mood. I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. Thank you for reading and until next time.
