Happy New Year!! The first post for the new year and I am super excited. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I am excited to see what this year brings for the blog and my readers. I am currently on the plane updating the blog, by the time you read this post I’ll be up in the air or in Dallas. I am so excited to tell you about this outfit post, particularly the skirt. I am always one for branching out and experiment and this skirt allowed me to do just that.
This skirt was another find at the BCBG Max Azria store next to my mother in law’s house. It was a wopping $228 and I got it for $46. A pleated faux leather (pretty good leahter) skirt for $46?! Unheard of! As soon as I saw it, I fell for the rich texture, heaviness and its fluidity. It feels weird to say, but I love the fact that it was so heavy. And as God would have it, it was the last skirt and in my size at the store! Pretty cool right? This sweater came out to the store the day that we visited so I got first dibb! My husband actually forced me to buy this sweater because he loved it so much. He is a fashionistO on the low (lol) and definitely one for mixing prints. He insisted that this sweater belonged in my closet and you know I am not one to oppose lol. I paired it together with the skirt and loved the result. I would love to know your thoughts on this first post. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.
