I hope your valentine’s weekend went extremely well. I want get right into this post because I need to go to sleep. I saw this belt on Wendy’s Lookbook blog about 5 months ago and I have been itching to get it. I went to look for it on every website and it was sold out. About two weeks ago, I was perusing the BCBG website only to realize the belt was back in stock! Imagine my disbelief and excitement. However, I couldn’t see myself spending that much on a belt. In true thriftynista fashion, I went and started looking for coupons to no avail. I finally signed up for the BCBG website and got 15% off. Still unsatisfied, I waited to see if I could find something better.
About a week later, I went on the website again, only to find out that my size is sold out, again. I freaked out and called my husband complaining and he (like the supportive husband that he is) said I told you should have bought, you need to stop being cheap. Of course, he couldn’t understand my need to find this belt at a cheaper price so I dropped it. On Thursday, while facetiming with him, I was preoccupied with something, when he told me to look up. As soon as I did, I started crying (drama queen moment) I was speechless. My husband had gone out and bought me the belt! Turns out after our conversation, he called all the BCBG stores in the area and found out that there was one belt left in my size and he bought it for me. I’m just blessed with the best husband ever, granted he bought it full price (not my cup of tea) but I’m so glad he surprised me. This weekend was just so full of surprises and so very special. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.
