Happy Thursday! I hope you’re keeping warm if you’re on the east coast. I’ve been meaning to write this post for a week now but my day time job won’t let me be the blogger I am supposed to be (lol). Nevertheless, I am writing it now. I don’t own chambray anything, so it was a nice change to add this shirt to my closet. A chambray shirt is so versatile, you can dress it up or down. I love the stark contrast of both textures, the buttery finish of the pleated leather skirt and nice clean finish of this chambray shirt. I paired it with my bright head wrap for a nice pop of color(s) and my leopard print pumps. This cold weather has been so outrageous that we had to shoot inside, but again, it was a nice change and I think I’ll do it more often. I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. As always thank you for reading and we will talk soon.
Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here, just pushing through until Friday. The cold here in MD has been brutal and I am just trying to stay stylish through it all. My hair….You’re witnessing what a failed braid out looks like on short natural hair, so why take pictures right? I am trying to embrace all of the stages of my short hair, the failures and successes or at least that’s what I keep telling myself (lol). I am really getting into plain turtlenecks lately and I just went on turtleneck binge purchase last week where I bought at least 3. They are so comfortable and you can wear them with almost everything. I opted for the burgundy one and paired it with one of my favorite skirts. I cinched the waist with a wide belt and opted for green pumps. It’s a very simple and chic look that is easy to pull off. As always, thank you for visiting and reading, until next time!
