Happy Thursday Lovelies!
The weekend is almost here and I can almost taste it. I wanted to do a quick post on this outfit. I got this dress at H&M for less than $10 (woohoo!!) and I am not really into tiered dresses but I figured since I am trying new things, I might as well add it to my closet. Although it is a simple dress, there are so many parts to it which is what I found interesting. If you squint hard enough you can see the “semi hi-lo” in the tiers of the dress, I love the high v-neck line and the skinny sleeves which you can’t really see because it’s scrunched up. The tiers and light weight material of the dress definitely makes for a fun and flirty look. I paired it with my fun wedged booties and my mini bucket bag and voila! It’s a very light and relaxed look for date night, brunch or a night on the town with girlfriends. As always I would love to know your thoughts on this outfit. Thank you for reading and until next time. Remember: A soft answer turns away wrath, but a grievous word stirs up anger Pro. 15:1.
Happy Monday Loves and Happy Flag Day to my beautiful cof Haiti!!
I hope your weekend was marvelous and your week started off to a good start. My weekend was very relaxing and I found some time to squeeze in a couple of outfits shoots for the blog so stay tuned. I am sure I was not the only one who was heartbroken to learn of Piperlime’s closing and in my true thrifty fashion I waited til the last minute to get anything, thinking they were going to slash the prices even more.. that didn’t happen. But.. I manage to get my hands on one of the skirts I had been stalking for a while and I am so glad they had my size. This skirt is so feminine and dainty and not to mention a lot of ‘give’. The stretch material allows the skirt to be even more versatile, so I decided to style it 2 different ways for you guys, the lemon top is the more feminine way of dressing it and the chambray the more masculine was of dressing this skirt. I was very pleased with the way both of the outfits came out and I would love to know which outfit is your favorite and why? I look forward to your responses, as always thank you for visiting and reading. Remember… God is faithful.
