As I said on my last blog post, I am falling deep in love with graphic T-shirts. Due to the nature of the places I frequent most of the time I need to dress up. So how does a girl marry her love for graphic T-shirts and the requirement to dress up? I find it to be not challenging at all. Most would suggest as long as you put on heels, then you’re automatically dress-up; not so! I find there’s a certain attitude that goes with dressing up a graphic Tee, whether it is for date night, a quick meeting, brunch with the girls, the list can go on. The most important thing with dressing up a graphic T is finding the perfect bottom to compliment the shirt; it can be a pair of jeans, pencil or skater skirt, shorts, etc. Once decided on the bottom, pick the accessories (shoes, purse, sunnies, headpiece & jewelry (if you wear any)) that will go along with the outfit because accessories can make or break any outfit. For my outfit, I love the black-and-white juxtaposition. I usually stay away from a darker top, I usually do a dark bottom, but for this outfit, it worked. I wanted a nice cinched waist and this corset belt definitely did the trick, all while complimenting both the shirt and skirt. My hairstyle or head piece is purposeful in that it brings about a pop of color to an otherwise simple outfit. I rounded out the look with sandals because I was on my way to brunch in the city. I hope you enjoy this little bit of information sharing and will think about it next time you’re wearing your graphic tee. I will talk to you soon on the blogosphere. Enjoy you weekend!
