Happy Monday Loves and Happy Flag Day to my beautiful cof Haiti!!
I hope your weekend was marvelous and your week started off to a good start. My weekend was very relaxing and I found some time to squeeze in a couple of outfits shoots for the blog so stay tuned. I am sure I was not the only one who was heartbroken to learn of Piperlime’s closing and in my true thrifty fashion I waited til the last minute to get anything, thinking they were going to slash the prices even more.. that didn’t happen. But.. I manage to get my hands on one of the skirts I had been stalking for a while and I am so glad they had my size. This skirt is so feminine and dainty and not to mention a lot of ‘give’. The stretch material allows the skirt to be even more versatile, so I decided to style it 2 different ways for you guys, the lemon top is the more feminine way of dressing it and the chambray the more masculine was of dressing this skirt. I was very pleased with the way both of the outfits came out and I would love to know which outfit is your favorite and why? I look forward to your responses, as always thank you for visiting and reading. Remember… God is faithful.
Long time no see/hear, I hope you guys are doing well. I’m so relieved and happy to be able to check in with you all and take pictures because a lot has been going on in my personal life. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I traveled to Haiti in March and I’ve been keeping busy with work. So I decided to update the blog because it’s a welcome distraction from all of the things happening in my life. I really wish I was more consistent with the blog but the way life is set up… I just asked that you all keep my family and I in your prayers.
Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here, just pushing through until Friday. The cold here in MD has been brutal and I am just trying to stay stylish through it all. My hair….You’re witnessing what a failed braid out looks like on short natural hair, so why take pictures right? I am trying to embrace all of the stages of my short hair, the failures and successes or at least that’s what I keep telling myself (lol). I am really getting into plain turtlenecks lately and I just went on turtleneck binge purchase last week where I bought at least 3. They are so comfortable and you can wear them with almost everything. I opted for the burgundy one and paired it with one of my favorite skirts. I cinched the waist with a wide belt and opted for green pumps. It’s a very simple and chic look that is easy to pull off. As always, thank you for visiting and reading, until next time!
Happy Birthday To Me!! Just want to thank God for life and trusting him for many more years!
Stay Fashionomically Chic and Fab.-JMP
Happy Monday! I hope you got some rest this weekend and you’re ready to tackle this week. I know I didn’t get enough rest, I guess that’s what happens when you spend the whole weekend with a very active 7 year old.
So fashion week is in full swing and I didn’t have a chance to go again this year. It will be the goal one of these years. I’ve been catching some show snippets online and the ever faithful Instagram. I am so excited for the textures, colors and styles that we will be seeing in stores soon. Well until then, we can talk about this outfit in the mean time.
