I hope your week is going well. Just stopping by to say hello because this week is super busy but I am loving every minute of it. I hope your work week is productive as well. I bought this skirt since fall of last year and didn’t quite know how to dress it up and with a little coaxing and help from the hubs I put this outfit together.
I hope your weekend went wonderfully well. The weather was gloomy and rainy all weekend here in MD. I wanted to brighten things up a bit. I actually wore this outfit back in October but never had the chance to take pictures and I thought why not wear it again? (blame my laziness on the gloomy weather).
I can’t believe in less than 48 hours I will be counting down to the new year! It is crazy but so happy for the new year. The thing that scares me is the unknown, but that’s also what makes this new year so exciting. For those of you who celebrate, I hope your Christmas time with family was extra fun and that everything you have planned for the new year goes as smoothly as possible. I wanted to end this year with a pairing that I’ve never done before. I thought instead a pop of color, I will have pop of colors; not to mention that no color can outdo this tweed, multi-print peplum jacket. I picked up this jacket that I had been eying at Ann Taylor for more than 70% off the price! Remember my motto, I never buy any thing full price. I paired it with a tan J.Crew skirt and my trusted Manolo Blahnik pumps. I would love to know your thoughts on this pairing.
I just want to take this time to really thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support and encouragement on the blog in 2013. I look forward to more interaction in the new year. Your feedback is extremely appreciated. I wish you and your family all of the best in the new year. Here is to next year and beyond! Happy New Year!! Remember…

I hope your (hopefully) short work week is off to a great start. I am going to be brief. My god friend bought me this Furla belt from her trip to Belgium last month and I’ve been meaning to wear it but wasn’t quite sure how I would style it. I love this belt and have nothing like it in my closet. This weekend I realized that it would be perfect with this outfit and I love the outcome. I also love the fact that we caught the sunset while taking the pictures. I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit. As always, thank you for reading. Until next time.

Happy Veteran’s day! We appreciate and pray for all of the men and women who serve our country daily. I hope you’re enjoying your day off for those of you who do get that day off. This weekend was so packed with church activities, social activities and getting sick-boo to that last one. It was so windy and cold this weekend that I almost considered taking my pics inside, but then I wouldn’t be able to show the gorgeousness that is this leather skirt. When I tell you this leather pencil skirt is a must in my closet, I mean it. I love its versatility and please bear with me because I will be wearing it more and more as we get into the season. You can see how I styled it last time I wore it here
. I love the way it looked with this hounds tooth suede elbow patched blazer I got from Zara last year. This outfit speaks sleek, chic & classy work wear and I love it! As always I’d love to hear your thoughts on this outfit and thank you for reading. Until next time.
